Profits Up At Fiberweb

Fiberweb announced sales and earnings information for the January-June 2010 period. The company recordeda 9% increase in industrial volumes and a 4% increase in hygiene volumes.


Fiberweb saw a revenue increase of 9% to $369 million, compared to a 5% decrease to $386 million tallied for the same period in 2009.

Fiberweb announced an underlying operating margin increase of 5.9%, despite a $7 million adverse net raw material impact.

Fiberweb’s underlying operating profit increased 27% to $22 million.

Fiberweb reported cashflow from operations was $40 million, including a $10 million reduction of working capital.
